Ensembles
"Playing together is the greatest joy there is"

Magnus Ensemble
The Magnus Ensemble was founded in the summer of 2021 by Tania Cornejo (viola), Mariko Windecker (cello), and Linda Grizfeld (piano). The musicians met while studying their masters in music pedagogy at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt after having majored in performance elsewhere. The trio also completed a training as facilitators in the Scenic Interpretation method of Music theatre (Szenische Interpretation von Musiktheater) at the Oper Frankfurt.
At the HfMDK Frankfurt the trios musical supervisors were Prof. Hansjacob Staemmler and Sabine Krams. Their pedagogy mentor was Prof. Dr. Maria Spychiger.
The Magnus Ensemble is the creator of the Workshop-Concert Format Kammermusikando!

Mainhattan Strings
At Mainhattan Strings concerts, original arrangements, surprising contexts and dramaturgical subtlety take centre stage. This is where things that would otherwise remain separate come together - with a clear line and yet a broad horizon. Anyone expecting a classical concert will be pleasantly steered off the beaten track.
