Enter the world of classical chamber music!
‘Kammermusikando’ is a hybrid format consisting of an interactive concert and workshop. The format includes educational concepts for chamber music works in order to make them more accessible to young people. With this format, we (Magnus Ensemble) interact with the participants simultaneously musicians and educators. Our format adapts to the class and the needs of the children. The aim is not just to offer the pupils a classical concert, but rather to give them the opportunity to experience chamber music and draw connections to their own lives by actively approaching and shaping it themselves, thinking about it and helping to shape it. At the same time, they can take a look ‘behind the scenes’ and experience the working and interpretation process of a classical ensemble.
All ‘Kammermusikando’ concepts are divided into four phases: Introduction/warm-up, targeted listening, constructivist work and presentation of the interpretations with concluding reflection.
Conceptualized for 2nd - 10th grade. Suitable for all who are new to classical chamber music.
